Starting Point: Rethymno
Stop at Plakias for photos. Plakias is a popular tourist resort, located 36km south of Rethymno city, at the exit of a fertile valley south of the range Kouroupa. Next to it empties the river Kotsifos.
Stop at Korakas beach for swim.
Stop at Fragokastelo. It stands for “ The Catholic Castle” and it is a famous location in Crete, its landmark is the local Venetian castle and it is accompanied by the superb beach and of course, the renowned Drosulites.
Stop at Hora Sfakion for food or coffee.
Stop at Vryses for yoghurt or coffee. Vryses is a village of Apokoronas municipality at Chania, built at an elevation of 70 meters, 30 km away from Chania, on the central Chania – Rethymnon highway. The name of the village is due to the morphology of the soil, as there are a lot of taps, springs and running waters.
